July 10th marked this year's Family Gathering hosted this time by Eileen Woods at her home in Pacifica. We were blessed with beautiful weather in Pacifica, something of a rare occurrence along the coast just south of San Francisco, I think it fair to say that a good time was had by all.
The record for the longest distance traveled this year went to Gary and Vicki Diffley who were out from Georgia. Our oldest attendee was Olga O'Callaghan, still spry at 98. Our youngest attendee, assuming you don't count the one Paula Pacheco is carrying around inside, was Clara Diffley who just recently had her 1st birthday.
The highlight of the day was provided by Denise Fletcher who brought along about an hour of video she had shot at the 1984 Family Gathering. A real treat to be able to look back. We all looked so young, and so thin!!
